About the event
The Wiz - Revelation
Is GAP Academy's End of term showcase followed by an awards ceremony & after party.
Please encourage friends and family to come and support our young peoples hard work this term.
The play is led by our youth theatre but involves all stage school members in the ensemble. Minis, JR & Teens all have songs and dances and featured parts in the productions.
Outfits
The wiz is set in a fantasy land
Outfits need to stand out, think of colourful disco/sparkles/sequins/flashy attrie that they are also able to dance in.
(Shorts to be worn under dresses & skirts)
All need plain Black garments (Fitted vest top & shorts) under outfits for any quick changes.
Rehearsals (Stage-school members)
Wednesday 10am-4pm @GAP
Thursday 25th 10am-4pm @GAP
Friday 26th (Tech Rehearsal @LEGACY) 11am-4.00pm
Performers return for 6.30pm
Youth theatre must attend all saturday and thursday rehearsals leading up to the performance.
Friday 26th Show Day!
- All Gap Academy members must arrive 11am (must bring packed lunch)
- Members must leave the theatre 4pm & return at 6.30pm.
- Showcase begins at 7-9pm
- Awards 9-9.15pm
- Party 9.15-10.30pm.
