Good evening parents!   We will once again be doing a 4 day HAF Funded holiday programme from Tuesday 2nd January - Friday 5th January 2024.   Please carefully read the following;    Our running times will be from 8am-6pm. The free HAF spaces will be from 12pm-4pm we are limited to 30 HAF children on first come first served basis.   All children taking part must attend 12pm-4pm (£14/Free for HAF), this will enable us to structure our specialist arts sessions. Additional 2 Hour slots can be added for £7 per 2 hour session. (8am-10am), (10am-12pm) & (4pm-6pm).   8am-10am- Breakfast & Free play 10am-12pm - Trip or Multi-Sports (Snack break 11am) 12:00pm-13:30pm - Performing Arts Session 1 13:30-14:30pm - Lunch & Free Play 14:30-16:00pm - Performing Arts Session 2 16:00pm-18:00pm - Freeplay or Multi-Sports (Snack break 5pm)   Those who would like their child to attend trips these will be on Wednesday (Cinema £7.50) & Friday (Swimming £5) 10am-12pm   Hot Dinners are £3.50 and must be booked in advance with the sessions.   If your child qualifies for a HAF funded place & you wish to book their place, please ensure you do this via the Activities website, your child schools will have issued you a vouchers/e-mails for this when they are ready to book on holidayactivities.com(http://holidayactivities.com)   If you do not qualify for HAF, or you qualify HAF but would like to book extended provision and trips, You can still fill out our sign up form so we can invoice you for any additional sessions/trips you would like to book.   The form to register your child is here:  https://forms.gle/4zbJvKQ28BgwzDrT6(https://forms.gle/4zbJvKQ28BgwzDrT6)   Once this is completed, guardians will be invoiced as soon as possible, deposits need to be made by LATEST: FRIDAY 15th DECEMBER (this will be deducted from the total on the invoice) so we can secure your booking & allocate staff/stock accordingly.    The final balance must be paid in FULL by Friday 29th December.    Once an invoice has been sent, we will then e-mail & text you a payment link where you can pay the deposit, the remaining balance will be sent as a separate payment. Alternatively you can pay using the bank details on the invoice. Due to time pressures, we have decided to push back Perfected Praise music competition to March 2nd, which means the entry deadline, has been extended to January 30th. GAP will be entering an academy choir, however, if anyone wants to enter as a solo or group they have to register independently. Kind Regards, Nikki

Starting January 2024 the times for Tuesday dance classes will be changing. The new dance class times are: 4.30pm-6pm - 4-8 years old 6pm-7.30pm - 9-11 years old / 12 - 15 years old 7.30pm-9pm - 16+ years old Kind Regards, Nikki

We will also be hosting a New Year’s Watch Night and Slumber party on December 31st. This will be open to GAP Members, Friends and Family. For the slumber party the children need to be over the age of 10 and it will be open to GAP kids first and you have to book by 2nd December after which it will open to friends of GAP kids which will be open until the 15th December. However, we have limited capacity of 30 children which is on the first come first serve basis, so please book your tickets on the app by the deadline as we will not be accepting any bookings on the day. AND... on the 22nd December we will be hosting a Christmas party! Thanks! Nikki

The LAMDA Acting Exams will be in the morning of the 17th. Those who attend on Tuesdays have been put down to do the exams based on their attendance (80% or more). The exam fees are: • Minis- who are doing Musical Theatre Grade 1 - £15 (Melina, Keyah-Leigh, Gabriella, Nefertiti, Kyle, Kyrah) • Juniors & Teens- Who are doing Acting Grade 4 - £10.50 (Alarna, Athalia, Rhyleigh, Taevon, Imaani D., Imani W., Kamil, Latasia, Melea, Marquise, Monet, Nyah, Nyimah, Sophia) Payments need to be made via the app. The deadline for the payment is th 30th of this month, if the deadline is not met your child’s space will go to the next child in line, as we can only have a limited amount of entries. Trinity College Performing Arts exams for Stage School members will take place in March. The rehearsals for “Siter Act 2” are starting from (this) Saturday 25th from when they finish stage school until 5.30pm. This is for Juniors & Teens that would like to take part in the Ensemble for the production. This rehearsal also requires those who attend youth theatre to join too. There may be an additional rehearsal on 14th December, this will depend on how the rehearsals go. Junior’s will be taking part in the show that is held on the 16th December. Teens will be taking part on the 15th and 17th December. Youth Theatre cast has to attend all shows. ALL children should arrive an hour before the show starts to ensure we run on time. Everyone should bring a white shirt and black trousers/skirt as well as a casual outfit. For those playing a Nun, the rest of the costume will be provided. The tickets for the performances can be purchased via the new app. Advanced ticket prices: £8 - Child Ticket £10 - Adult Ticket Any tickets bought on the door have an additional £2 fee. Be advised that we are limited to 60 people per show so book in advance to avoid disappointment. Thanks! Nikki

For the remainder of this term, we are taking time to strengthen and develop our competition teams, focusing on flexibility , technique and tricks in preparation for competitions in the new year. We are starting to prepare for the UDO British Dance Festival Weekender 19th-21st April. To qualify for this competition you must attend the competition on the 25th February. Attendance to this festival is open to all. Dancers who would like to join the competition team are encouraged to join now to ensure enough preparation time. Please RSVP on our APP that you are attending. Booking is now open for parents to book directly on the official website.
